yay i figured it out, i was skippin a few rows but ddnt no till i got the pattern off website n printed it out..im almost done with my first hat ...cant wait to get it completed n c wat ppl say about it!!!! all the gals r gettin 1 for xmas if mine turns out good!

could someone plz explain to me how to do the "2 single crochet stitches in the same stitch"? i think that is where im messing up on this! plz help, ive searched n searched online but cant find a thing to explain it n im dieing to make this hat!!

Ahh, I messed up somewhere... It looks like a really, really small, wonky beret. My Buddha figurine's bald head is now warm, at least...

Yes. This is the only time that you do a row of 2 sc all around. I think is to allow for a larger increase to the diameter at this point of the project and to prevent curling. Good luck!
