Wish mine came with ammo. Although I saw 400+ round surplus 8mm cans for $150-ish. On chargers already too. I forget the country of production. Anyway, I got 4 boxes of Sellier & Bellot 8x57 JS FMJ for my BYF 44. Now I just have to fix the duffle cut stock so the front part of the gun doesn't come apart when I shoot it again...

@thehobobehindyou I would get a K98k. It is a superior system in every way shape and form to the Mosin 91/30. That being said the Mosin's are very good rifles at a very good price.($99) Mausers will cost you a minimum of $300 for a K98k. Ammo is available for both pretty easily. I am saying this assuming you live in the US. Recoil is technically higher on the K98k, but as for what you feel it feels the same. You can't go wrong with either.

@mwillis1000 Agreed! Just look at all the violent games Americans play these days. They haven't just failed to "get over the war," they've allowed it to control everything they do, from economics, to foreign policy.

@BrautdesSoldaten LoL i wouldn't say the kick is "soft" it fires a 7.92x57 mauser bullet... pretty big and heavy and plenty of kick.

I always prefered bolt actions to SA's my favorite rifles would have to be the k98, lee enfield and mosin nagant
