Don't like full sun? I live in southern wv and all of mine get full sun, my biggest one was 10 feet high. Oh, and yes they do flower, actually they have a spathe like a peace lily.

I love your video on elephant ears, and am glad that you mentioned their importance as a food crop! Just so you know, here in Florida they do flower with inflorescences much like peace lilies. They smell kinda sweet too!

I'm not sure which variety of Elephant Ear I have, large green leaves that easily go 30+ inches long, and I get numerous blooms through fall.

Also, mine are in Texas sun, get LOTS of water, and I now have leaves about 37 inches long and 30 inches wide. These are only the 5th and 6th leaves. So some of what they say in this video is not completely accurate. They do need LOTS of water tho.

I live in Salem oregon I have a elephant ear bulb. This is my first attempt to grow one the bulb has started to sprout is it to early to plant the bulb.
