  • I posted it the other day

  • You are too kind. All your girl friends are Angels so all songs with the name Angel in the title or lyrics are dedicated to all of them :-)) Cute comment!

  • Morris Pejoe on black wax is hard enough (nearly impossible), let alone a red wax copy. The rarest colored wax record I've come across is The Montclairs on Premium - splash wax. My friend has it.. It's not a boot. The thickness and stampings are all correct as well as the feel of the record. I came across a red opaque wax copy of The Evening Star Quartet on Gotham which I'm buying. I'll post that once I get it. I'll post the Professor Alex Bradford this week or next.

  • My greatest red wax find was Morris Pejoe on checker....At that time there were only 5 know to exist.....Are you going to post that Bradford record, if so, let me know when you do. Thanks

  • It would be really cool. I've been told by a few collectors that this does exist on red wax. I don't see why it couldn't. I recently found a splash wax Professor Alex Bradford on Specialty that's not "supposed" to exist

  • All songs that have Angel in the title or lyrics SHOULD be for you.....but I'm afraid my other girl friends are starting to get jealous...(he says with a big smile)

  • Tell that to Val Shively.....not know for bargain prices.....he does however offer a 10% discount. I never heard of this on red wax....how cool would that be????

  • $5,400 is way too much unless it's a red wax copy. Red wax is an incredibly rare find for this 45 (so rare many collectors don't think it exists). A near mint black wax copy should go for $750 or so. I've seen lower grades for anywhere from $75-150. Newly Wed was a regional R&B hit in Detroit, Chicago and Philly. I'd assume more than 10,000 copies were pressed. You Said You Love Me (their other Parrot release) is obscenely rare

  • Oh, with my name Angel, lots of '50s and ''60s are about Angels and I know that every song CAN'T be about me. I'm just very grateful that so many great people on YT think of me as often as they do! And, you have been so kind to me - thank you :-))

  • I'm in agreement with you. "In my top ten of all-time favorites.
