Flash Gordon - Escape in Arboria - Alternate and Deleted Music

As Flash descends down the Arborian vine, Howard Blake's alternate music bursts into a heroic, exciting fanfare, changing tone quickly once Flash begins to sink into the swamp. As Barin descends in pursuit, we return to the original mix with Blake's music conveying a brief sense of relief as Flash pulls himself out to safety. A deleted cue begins once the Swamp Creature surprises Flash and begins to pull him down into the murk. The dramatic closing note signaling the death of the creature is actually heard in the original film, with an addition of the previously deleted timpani roll underscoring the surprise laser blast from the Hawkmen.

@CrassMufumbu No, not at all. I just made these videos for fun and because I love the movie. I have no connection to Universal, so what you see on this youtube channel is no indication of what is available on the Blu-ray/DVD. Each video description has links to to buy the movie, so you can see what's available on the extras. But an alternate soundtrack option isn't one of them.

@navyman4 totally agreed man. here in germany the voiceover for flash's screams at the monster scene was horrifying...as a kid i thought that he probably gets chewed or crap....freaked me out. i have looked over the internet and still cant find any mentioning of this creature in the flash universe,i definitely want to know what that thing is
