One of the magazine followers stuck so the last round did not feed in one of the guns. I got off a total of 59 rounds. I fired into the side of a 600 foot tall ridge so while it may appear as if I fired into the air, I did not. akimbo

Howd you get the vent slots cut into the wood handguards? looking at my dremel tool with the attachements & can't figure out how to get them to work cutting those slots in the wood, maybe I don't have the right attachment? What grit sandpaper did you use to sand down those factory fugly handguards so they look more slimline, they look much better than the hotdog bun oversized factory wooden handguards that come from Century? I'd love to have the same setup, dont mean to copycat.but please HELP!

I cut them with a drill bit then took a router bit with an air die grinder and enlarged the holes. I didn't have a jig so the slots are not equal. If I did it again I would make smaller slots. I have an orbital sander I used to shave the handguards down to match the receiver. I used a 60 grit paper at first and then finer to get it smooth.

Thanks. If I did it again I would make a jig so the cuts are even. I would also make them slightly smaller. I think it helps with the heat, but it also helps me grip it better.
