Pyramid Lake is one of the largest Stillwaters in the western United States. It can be a difficult fishery because of its sheer magnitude. With all that said, the large, native Lahontan Cutthroat that inhabit the lake make it worth your trip almost every time. Ladder fishing is the common means of accessing these trout via the shoreline. If you go there bring warm clothes, be prepared for wind, be ready to cast big flies, and be ready to fish all day off a ladder. Thanks for watching!!!

@topgun388 you can do so without getting wet if you're careful. It is not as bad as it seems unless the wind is blowing, one thing is for sure always bring and extra pair of clothes with you as most of us, even the seasoned anglers have taking a swim or two.

Hey Lee, you should make a trip up to Henry's with TroutTrek and myself. It would be a pleasure to fish with you again. I don't know about catching more fish than everybody, you guys certainly did great for the "visiting team." Hopefully I'll see you guys around more often!

Volume 1 coming. It will be dedicated to you. I think you caught more fish then everyone on the lake combined. Thanks for all the tips. You kept us in the right spots during the right times, when uncertainty was amonst us. Hope to see you soon in the fall for some big bows at one of our stillwaters
