Just a quick glimpse of my new guitar and my horrible playing. lol. It's the Greg Bennett Laredo D-16CE. It has a solid cedar top. Rosewood sides, back, fretboard, bridge and pickguard. It has gold Grover tuners w/ Fishman electronics and onboard chromatic tuner. Enjoy! I hope it helps someone looking for one of these very nice guitars

  • NICE MAKES ME WANNA BUY ONE AND LEARN..

  • @DEPARTURES19 cool! It's never too late to learn. I didn't learn until I was 34

  • my local guitar store still has a new(never sold) Samick artists series from the 1990s with a solid top with mahogany back and sides, with rosewood fingerboard and bridge and he is selling it for less than a Fender T Bucket with a laminated top that is made in China. They both side pretty good but since you have a Samick, do you think I should go for the Samick too. My original impression is with the Fender I am paying more for the name on the top. Please let me know.

  • @paulgaudinjrBCN not real sure about Samick in the 90's. If it were Greg Bennett, I would def. go with it. I'd go for the one that has the best sound for what you like. It's def. not always about name b/c you will pay for that. Go for quality and looks over a name anyday

  • Where can I buy this guitar and how much would it cost?

  • @TheMechanicalRomance Not really sure. I got it at a local store. Just google it

  • @elfhermie hey man those levers you said are called pre amp. of course they wont work if you dont have an amp. thats why we call it pre amp. well it will not change the sound of your guitar unplugged. but it will define the sound of your guitar when you plug it in. i suggest that you plug it in then play it then try moving the levers and notice how the sound differs when you move it. then you could put it in the setting that suits your playing style. there you go hope this helps

  • @ghostly2923 For that price I would go with something by Fender in the strat style. You may can luck up and find a real Fender strat on Ebay used for around 200. If not, go with a new Squier by Fender strat. Not the best but a good beginner

  • @MrHundsome I use medium always on acoustics. I think I'm using John Pearce mediums

  • sir.. nice guitar!!^^

what is the gauge of that string??

i have an OM7 cedar top and rosewood back&side from GB also

I'm just confused of what string to be used because of soft cedar top...^^hehe!

lately i noticed the bulging of belly behind the bridge..
