@herojha i completely agree with you. More often than not, it's the conditions under which we are forced to learn these things in class that make us view our professors as being inadequate. Meeting and discussing the problems wiht them in person, i can tell some of them are excellent. But when the class is too early in the morning, or I'm too hungry or he/she lectures without a microphone (or has a soft voice), it can be almost impossible to learn much in class.

just as 9iam, please the general solution is not 5!/[n!(5-2)!]. The general solution for the probability of number of heads after 5 flips is 5!/[n!(5-n)!]
