Harvard did an extensive test of patience and delayed gratification called the "Marshmallow Test." Senior Pastor Larry Thompson recently put the First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale staff through the same test. Watch what happens from this hidden camera footage.

But the idea itself is great! The "actors' " behaviour represents the four intellectual stages described by Piaget.
The one licking the marshmallow is senso-motoric, just trying.
The juggling and cancan guys are at the pre-operational stage.
The blue-shirt-glasses guy is at the concrete. stage.
The lady in greenish dress is at the formal stage. (organising).
