@GaryBuster This is a poem written by Mary Frye and I love it. The statement is not to be taken as literally my body is not dead, but that I am an eternal being, therefore 'I' am not dead. This corpse is only the remains of my body. I agree totally with this and Christian theology does support an afterlife where spirits continue to exist in spite of their bodies being laid low.

Je suis émue et touchée par ce que cette musique évoque en moi! Les voix humaines alliées aux instruments donnent un goût de ciel et nous transportent! Très belle cette vidéo de répétition, les atmosphères de répétition sont inspirantes!

@GaryBuster The text is that of the catholic death mass, the same text as both Mozart and Verdi used for their Requiems

I am incredibly moved by this work. Thank you for this inspirational music.
Sorry, but i just don't understand your issue with "I did not die".......I think it's just splitting hairs, really. Not being awkward about this, i believe that we have lived a zillion times before and we will again. I did not die, seems to sya it all - my opinion only, but I think so much time is wasted on nitpicking and in so doing, miss the message. This is my opinion only - I don't want to start a huge thread here.
