Writer-musician Eddie Kean (1925-2010) not only penned the whimsical storylines and scripts for the pioneering children's TV show, "Howdy Doody," (1947-1960), he also composed the words and music for many of the show's signature songs. Here, the show's host Buffalo Bob Smith introduces Judy Tyler, in the character of Princess Summerfallwinterspring, singing, "Every Day You Meet A Friend," from a commercially released record, sometime in the early 1950s.
