John Pilger is trying to have it both ways. In the 60'she was showing the same scenes but saying look how strong the Communists were and how the Americans couldn't protect the civilians and they should leave. In fact replace the word Khmer Rouge with Viet Cong and it's the same. The Left think we're all stupid.

Because America, China and some west countries made an embargo against Cambodia who was just liberated by Vietnam. They didn't help Cambodia, but they helped Khmers rouges soldiers to fight against cambodian gouvernment leaded by CPP.

First, If there was a viet invasion, you can forget that you were suffering and had no rice to eat 12 years after khmer rouge genocide. You weren't alive until today.
Second, do you understand why you had not rice to eat during this time ?

We were still got nothing about food or cloths in 1979 and hospital,school. And i tried so many times to escaped from Cambodia since 1979 to lived in khmer,thai boder.
