Cartridge case and bullet jacket shaped sharges. .357 magnum and .45 colt. BJSC charges.

  • This place looks like your everyday blast site, no grass are growing around. How do you make this shaped charges with bullets and cases? I´m really interested since I think the worst thing about any shaped charge is to build the mold. Using available materials makes it much easier.

  • Melt lead from bullet, push in backwards and charge through drilled out primer socket. Expect ~1" penetration from the .357 but the hole diametre is miniscule, <1mm.

  • Thanks for the explanation, it seem very interesting since you will get a effective and small shaped charge. What if you just put some plastic HE around the case, do you think it will make a good cylindrical shaped charge?
