I feel let down by this song. Always loved Shorty. In any event, calypsonians always made fun of Indian people and their women..and the African population did nothing to stop it..

Shorty was arrested and charged for singing this calypso ('Indrani') and 'Art of Making Love' at the finals of the Calypso King contest in 1973 on the orders of Dr. Eric Williams. It was only recently that this song was allowed to be played on the Radio and TV stations in T&T because this song and 'Art of Making Love' were banned. I am yet to hear the 'Art of Making Love' on the Radio and TV stations here in T&T. I challenge any and all DJs to play the 'Art of Making Love'!!
