I don't understand what point you were trying to make by posting this and then trailing off at the end of your sentence to create a weird mood. Why?

@predatorxv It was true, other than the beasts, and the numbers of Xerxes forces. Classical historians claimed up to 2.6million (I believe that is the highest), while more modern analysis suggests up to 300,000. Either way, it's still a lot of them.

There were also more Greeks, (up to 5,000 all told) though most retreated when the pass was discovered, with the Spartans and a few others forming the rearguard, which they are famous for.

@predatorxv as already said, the story is real, only thing yo ushould not believe are the creatures. and the fighting was more ... in formation, not that heroic but still as brutal as in the movie. the troop numbers of the persians are a litle bit exaggerated too, but nevertheless the 300 spartans and their allies were overwhelmed by a huge mass of enemies.

@predatorxv Dude believe it, though the movie has some fiction and exaggerations, it's the closest to the real story of the spartan way of life and the 300...... :D

This is so Epic. I want to believe the story. Events like this just give you the will to carry on in life no matter what. I want to believe this story...but it is very hard to believe :).
