1.) Kukai is easy to befriend while Toguro is really an enemy

2.) Despite being in his demon form, Kukai is aware of his actions... While Toguro was just doing plain killing for power

3.) Recca and Team Hokage has many supporters during the semi-final match. While the crowd in Yu Yu Hakusho want Team Urameshi dead

4.) Kukai survived (as Kukai the Saint) at the end of the match, while Toguro died
