This program prepares students to serve as railroad conductors in the railway industry, which is critical to our nation's livelihood. Retirement rates of current conductors promise excellent job opportunities. DCTC formed partnerships with Canadian Pacific Railway, Union Pacific Railroad and many other regional and short lines to develop a curriculum that puts graduates on the fast track to employment in the industry.

  • @wackymac28 haha wow. i think there's too many comments back and forth on this video. ima PM you

  • @snifyoner now way, i live in glenmoore, pa in chester county if you know where thats at?

  • @wackymac28 ohhh haha. Allentown, PA yard. you can look up a photo of it on flickr, it's probably the biggest one you've ever seen.

  • @snifyoner oh no no i meant what rail yard not school

  • @wackymac28 class of '14 haha. im not going to mention what school.

  • @snifyoner really? where at? thanks for the heads up btw. thats true those positions are hardwork, i would like to be a conductor, and what year in high school are you in?

  • @wackymac28 no i'm still in highschool too. but the conductor and engineer positions are hard work.. just giving a heads up. i'm always at the yard railfanning

  • @snifyoner wait do you work on the railroad?

  • @wackymac28 definetly think about it. whenever they call, you drive up to 60 miles away, with only 2 hour notice, at any time. if you're at a wedding and they call you, you leave. you sleep in motels, be away from home for days. It's definetly fun doing this. but that's the reality of it. if you can deal with those problems, more power to you!! long live the railroad!

  • @cyleolson but im still in high school though but im gonna graduate next year so im still thinking about it. it looks like a cool job
