I think if your main reason for wanting to go on T is to be more comfortable in society, as opposed to being more comfortable with yourself, it would be good to wait a year or so... give yourself time to become comfortable with yourself in society, regardless of what others may think.. It's not been all that very long since your top surgery (even though it may seem like it to you), and it seems like you're still getting used to the "new" you in relation to others.

I wish I knew the right thing to say Ami, as this is such a big and complex issues as it directly affects your loved ones as well as yourself. I like at the end you feel comfortable with your game plan and it seems reasonable to wait on the issues given ALL that is going on with you and your life .

yeah I heard the ice cream van I have been with my partner for almost 10yrs and yes she thought she was getting involved with in her words a very boyish dyke! thats me been on T 6month she went to my therapist with me and decided like you I am me she loves the person inside she had me crying so much for not being emotional! I think your a great person ami no matter what happens do whatever you want to do for you we only get one shot at life try to have no regrets!
