  • just because it comes from microsoft dosnt make it safe . i got a virus from a program they had on a page

  • @eredy Not really sure what to to tell you. This program is certainly not a virus and I have definitely never been infected with a virus from the Microsoft Support page. You must be the lucky one. Or unlucky one I guess. Do you happen to know the name of the virus and program you got it from, and did you download it directly from the Support page or linked from some other site?

  • @cwpctech this one worked thanks . the one on there was for malicus scan but was a trojen and it was on there site on there list to for downloads .microsoft lets thing get in threw back doors .i like windows seven but it has a back door even with a fire wall a person can get in .

  • @eredy I always feel kind of unsafe when using Windows. I switched to Linux years ago and never looked back. I usually run a dual boot system of Windows 7 and Gentoo. I use the Windows for Itunes and video editing and Linux for everything else. I try to never do any Web surfing with Windows. The new MSI anti virus does kick ass though. It's free and it is definitely right up there with any of the paid ones. Check it out if you haven't already. Thanks, Eredy.
