@TheFryersmuck As an Australian, I'm so glad you have revealed to me that this song is partially dedicated to me and my country men trying to work down under. It's a struggle because we have to hold on tight enough not to fall off the earth. Makes my commute hard.

@TheFryersmuck good sir, please keep commenting: it heartens me to learn there are still quick witted folks out there armed with keyboards to spread cheer through the briny seas of the internets. huzzah!

:O "I wish I'd learned from what I'd seen" seriously struck me (in a good way) since I'm so used to the older lyrics. Also, that line is just.... wow.

@Dreadmore you are such a cunt. have a bit of fun.
This is a lovely song written about all the workers who are under our feet.
Like miners, sewerage workers, rabbits, badgers and Australians.
They are writing the follow up for pilots, birds, fireworks and the planetary system, called 'Above our heads'
This is not supposed to be a joke, it is fact, told by Marcus Mumfords Uncle, to the nurse who removed his ear wax, last thursday, who just so happens to be my Auntie Beryls hairdresser.

Come on people lets hear it for Reggie the rabbit because he was the taker of this photo of the band.
They were out taking a well earned rest picking blackberries in the countryside when they were approached by Reggie.
When they realised Reggie was stalking them, they asked him what he wanted and that was the exact moment he pulled his camera out and took this picture.
Even to this day the band talk of the day they were ambushed by the rabbit paparazzi.
Reggie is a close friend of mine.
