@TheJDorian There's also higher levels of sickle cell anemia over there. Who'd've thunk it? Also most of the African population do not have good access to health care, much less psychiatric care. I would know, my grandfather created a society devoted to providing psychiatric care to Kenya when there was only one psychiatrist in the entire country.

@Jazzy459 Ahh, that common misconception. It is true that Africa has always had low cases of autism, not just because of the level of the doctors over there. Many researchers and experts about autism from supposedly the country with the greatest medical system in the world have conducted surveys of the rate of autism in Africa. Victor Lottor was one of them and still the rate was incredibly low. Google his name if you want. Research if key my friend...

@Jazzy459 did your mother have amalgam (silver) mercury fillings? did your mother get vaccinated? Studies show that if women have toxic substanced absorbed in their body, and then have a kid. The toxic subtances in the women move to the fetus instead, and the fetus ends up having up to 8x more toxicity than the mother. So that could be a possibility?

The simple fact that the autism rate has skyrocketed in under one generation completely rules out genetics being the only cause to anyone with even a basic knowledge of the subject.
