This was my Game still have it and play it on occasion. but it's hard to believe my 7-8 year old self would murder me. Same thing on mortal kombat except for three. you try to play those oldschool fighting games again and somehow you can't wondering how the heck you beat it in the first place.

I played the arcade version couple of days ago. Pretty good for a classic game!!

Why is it that the character faces in Virtua Fighter 2 look better than the ones in Virtua Fighter 3?

Interestingly, the characters were done in high resolution, 720x500-something I believe, while the backgrounds were rendered in the usual Saturn resolution. Pretty damned cool.
The character resolution is higher than what GC, PS2 and Xbox games ran at the next generation.
