http://ow.ly/2jgmi An online business is no different than a traditional brick and mortar business. There are State or Provincial Laws as well as Federal Laws to obey.
Income claims by companies and individual distributors are for one reason only...that is to entice and trap YOU! It is presented to your emotions. Your emotions take over and you then are not able to think critically.
Recently I was sent a video encouraging me to join his opportunity. His claim was that he could prove he makes $12,000.00 a month with his opportunity. He exposed his back office in the video. However, I found it very curios that the name in the back office did not match his. So I had to ask myself, "does he go by more than one name or does he have access to someone else's account or is he just a creative graphical artist?
What makes making an income earnings claim illegal is simple? It's enticement. When you make an income claim, you are enticing your prospect into a deal. When your prospect is not able to duplicate the same income results as you, he feels like a failure.
The thing is...it is not impossible to be making this kind of income and more, it is ILLEGAL to be making the claim.
Learn the skills necessary to finally make an income. Start part time and make a little bit, then build on that and finally make your dream of retirement early come true. It takes time, it takes skills, you can make your dreams come true.

  • Darlene & Dave I love the way you present this concept. People that are just starting in the the MLM industry fall for these income claims and worse, start making them out of duplication (after all we emulate our uplines). It's sad that many people deny this is unethical. Thanks for sharing

  • Hi Dave and Darlene,

thanks for sharing this video. The importance of its message can't be stressed enough. People don't seem to be aware that the internet does never forget and that government institutions have the technology and ability to filter relevant information.

    Take care

    Oliver

  • @luckyoliver70 Exactly Oliver...just because the law has not come a knocking doesn't mean they want. And these guys have plastered their faces all over the net.

  • Awesome, awesome video, something everyone needs to see. Thanks for sharing.

  • @mariaikwhitehead Thanks Maria. This message I feel is not talked about enough. Or understood enough. It still amazes me the amount of people who get online and show their check. So what really. The thing is they don't get online and show their pay check from the company they work for. They know they want to recruit others but really do not see the legal side of what they are doing. But hey the internet has a very long memory and the arm of the law is long. Just not as swift as it could be

  • Hi Darlene and Dave, great information. There are a lot of people that make false income claims, and I've seen some pretty convincing screen shots as well. It's definitely unethical and I've come to really be suspicious of the integrity of these individuals and companies. It's a great deed to educate people the way you do and can see you care about people and their dreams enough to inform them about these Laws.

    Thank you.

    Be blessed in abundance.

  • When it comes to income claims it is like "Monkey see, monkey do!" Marketers seem to think that because everyone is doing it that it is ok for them to do the same. Never realizing just what State and Provincial Law are being broken.

  • Amazing how many people don't know income claims are illegal. The comment from Rod Cook is great!
