I'm an American,and while I have nothing against Palestinians or Jews,I can respect the Palestinian struggle,but that's not my reason for wearing mine,I wear it as a scarf around my neck because it's my right and because I simply just can.Some Israelis where them as well as US and allied coalition forces out in regions like the mid-east for the same practical reasons as other natives of that region.It helps keep the sun and sand out of your face.Just don't conceal your face in a public business.
