stribe 0.1 - prototype works

Still having a funky display issue at column 16 due to miswiring on proto board, but otherwise "cursor mode" now works. Right now I'm just doing super-stupid stuff in Max to make noises - need to write some fun instruments to control with this.

via Max I send a simple OSC message: /stribe/touch x y where x is the led column 0-15 and y is a vertical position value 0-1023. I still need to finish the firmware so it accepts incoming display control msgs. These will probably be 168 values (0-255) to represent the 2 64-column row-patterns.

If anyone is interested in writing software for this puppy in Max/MSP, PD, Chuck, Reaktor, or whatever - please get in touch.

Yeah, "motorized touch faders" without the inevitable mechanical breakdown... no moving parts, no slots for dust to get into.

I wonder when they will start making these ones, not just the single kit? Unless that is entirely up to the end user to combined them individually?
