Yup, it came out in 1995. The documentary was ok, not brilliant though. It was called something like "Rock and Unruly History"

this pbs documentary came out around 1995 and as far as i know isn't available on dvd. too bad because from what i recall, it was far superior to the other "history of rock & roll" that's shown on vh1
