yeah man religion seems to be the cause of the majority of wars, even if oil has a big part in it religion is the cover, to fight in gods name blah blah seems to be a running theme as an excuse for not feeling guilty because after all if we all say "god be with us" and then slaughter a whole nation of people it seems to be more acceptable, i like the notion that if god exists maybe he is failable, maybe that explains why we are not perfect and why he fucked off lol

The more people there are, the better the technology thats is needed to support them in a given area, and religion is an intelligence poison.

Even still, 11 Billion people would not be many people on the face of the earth. There will come a point when we will reach our natural population limit and nature will slow our reproduction. Till then it shouldn't be controlled by political policies.

for the record world population is currently growing by approximately 74 million people per year and if you look at projections the fertility rate is rising as well so we would be looking at 11 billion people by 2050, you seem to live in a world of absolutes where giving everybody 3 square feet of space, spacing them evenly apart and cramming them into a relatively small part of land means the world is not overpopulated, overpopulation is defined by more than how many people can fit on the earth
