Under Pressure Fire & Rescue Jet Ambulance

Pat Davidson's Under Pressure Jet Ambulance is powered by one of the largest military jet motors ever produced. With over 25,000 horsepower and 18,000 pounds of thrust with full afterburner, Under Pressure is able to run the quarter mile in 7 seconds at over 200 MPH. Not bad for a truck weighing in at over 7,000 pounds. This was filmed at the 2005 Rocky Mountain Nationals in Edmonton Alberta Canada at Bud Park (now Castrol Raceway)

I'll tell you, great video. That engine must put out at least 15,000-20,000 lbs. of thrust just by how it was twisting side to side. What kind of speeds is this thing getting in the 1/4 mile and at airshows?
