Its not that music is bad now. There's plenty of great stuff. There's just SO MUCH CHOICE now. Seriously listen to a top 40 radio station you'll hear songs from 40 different genre's of Music. The other thing to keep in mind is that it's all about personal taste. Even most of the "Good Bands" of the past have put out crap and you don't have to like it. Like what you want, and let others do the same.
