And yet, we must not dismiss the works of radicals just because they are not historians...They may be pointing out to what official historians ommit because the academic establishment subjects the necessity to make the truth honestly known to the desires of the political power and their financial masters. To end the post: the VdA seems to lean towards the same racism they claim to be against. VdA wants a separate Hispanic majority land in the Western US from (northern) Cali. to (East) Texas. Their anti-establishment but pro-racialist agenda is similar to the Black Nation of Islam, American Indian movement, some French-Canadian/Quebec separatists, Northern Ireland terror groups, etc. How can they be anti-white racist (Nazis), pro-third world (Arabs) & antisemitic at the same time is beyond me. +

The Voz de Aztlan claims to speak for immigrants, esp. Latinos, & Latin America was being controlled by imperialist American corporate interests to installed military regimes & cold war aggression (i.e. Pinochet in Chile). VdA calls for complete amnesty for illegal undocumented immigrants being descendants of the same ancient Aztlan empire (the Nahua or Mexica) originated in what is now known as the Four corners region of the western US along with all Mexicans: whether from here or in Mexico .+

Also the VdA sympathizes with the PLO and its mission statement to denounce Israel as a "racial apartheid" state. The VdA once commented 9/11 doesn't move them the same way the Spanish takeover of Mexico or racial segregation under the US has to Mexican (esp. mestizo, mixed indigenous-European ) peoples. The VdA is hostile towards white people, also racist towards black Americans, endorses radical leftism, some anti-semitsm and dislike non-Latinos who aren't "brown" or of Amerindian descent. +

The vid's author is the Voz de Aztlan, the Mexican-American movement calls for the end of US rule and reconquest of the Southwestern parts of the country for either Mexicans or Latinos whose presence predates the treaty of Guadelupe Hidalgo of 1848 when the US acquired formerly Spanish or Mexican land. The VdA compare themselves to Palestinians, as well the world's "colonized" peoples under European rulers in the last 500 years, esp. indigenous Mexicans or US-born Chicanos .+
