  • We launch at 7:30 a.m. here in Dover, New Jersey too. I have been a loader and jumper for 3 summers and winters now and pulled my share of days out on the road until 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Wait until peak season this year. It will be brutal. Bring on the 165+ stops. Possibly thinking about going into some kind of entrepreneurship with this company and their business model.

  • @MarkyG62289 Ohhh Wow. Entrepreneurship will be Great....

  • @PublicWifi HD is going to get slaughtered this year. They are already flexing routes in half. My dad is going to be in HD this peak season while I am helping out a Ground Contractor. The person I am helping has a route that merges with the HD route my dad is doing. I have a feeling it will all be coming our way.

  • Last year we had 30-50% Home Delivery stuff on our trucks. This year, thank God, we won't be helping out HD. I always got stuck delivering 5-10 LCD TV's a day because there was never enough room on the HD trucks.

  • @BlackoutCH53

    7.30 ? We're lucky to get on the road by 9 :-S

  • I hope so man. I feel like you could make some serious money managing some of these routes if you: A.) Pay your drivers fair B.) Don't complain about how many stops you have C.) Build some relationships with your customers in your service area while providing valuable grade A service. I studied most of this stuff in college and am on my last year of school. Some people understand what I am trying to do while others ask why I would want to work for such an industry. Personally I like it
