It was shocking when the pope said they want to lower the amount of priests raping boys to an "Acceptable level".

It shouldn't even be happening at all.

And only 8% of the UK population is Catholic (2001 census), so why bother coming here when he can spend the time in a country with a larger amount of Catholics in, where they will want him more?

I really couldn't care one way or the other about your outrage at my attitude towards Christianity. I'm outraged that the pope calls gay people evil and dangerous. I'm outraged that you equate being gay with being a paedophile. I'm outraged that the pope did his utmost to protect priests who had raped children. I'm outraged that the Catholic church's own figures have the number of priests involved in raping children is ONLY 1.5-5% and they think that's OK.
