@jiveturkey25 1st, you arent connected to the internet if your request time out. Either that or the server doesn't answer ping requests.
Secondly, you have to use the drive directory that the drive is in. So say you plug in your flashdrive it gets a D:\ so try cd d:\

@bokay1000 also you need to type "o avatar.outland.org" to connect

@bokay1000 if your on windows 7 you need to enable telnet

I typed everything in but was not able to get on to avatar.outland.org 3000

What's with the request timed out thing when I tried to get a IP address?
Also I try to go from C drive to a removable drive, but couldn't do it. Did I need to tye the exact name of the USB drive in command prompt?
first, I was hoping i could also be the first view oh well. hey prof i wanted to thank you for everything your doing its hard to find good reliable material (thats free) that is also up to date with the new 2009 objectives keep up the good work.
