@QLHanz Never tried it myself, but if you want to give it a go you're more than welcome to. The nearest hospital is less than 3 miles away but i don't know if they can sew fingers and hand back on there.

@QLHanz Absolutely nothing. The photons in the laser will cut through plywood but are smart enough to bypass the cells in your hand.

wow! i am working on a co2 laser myself but how did you get yours to be soo small? would be awesome if you could mail me some details on your project because all i know about are these bulky long glass tube lasers

@DaJaeff there is a 1.6m long glass tube in the back of the machine, the laser is delivered to the head via 3 mirrors.

@coastalcnc nice, so it isnt visible in the video. whats the hose at the tip for?
DaJaeff 1 month ago
@DaJaeff It's for compressed air, to keep the object lens clear of smoke and to blow away the smoke from the cut.

what is the star trek sound?
MegaPitoe 1 month ago
@MegaPitoe It's the stepper motors, just happen to work on a audible frequency
If you're clever enough you can get these machines to play tunes. Personally i find it better to not bother.
