Built PPG tranny 280 Cammed 2.5 20G hybrid WRX doing a couple crappy AWD burnouts

Not doing axle spins...those are too easy. I was wishing it had a LS7.....lol jk.

Will get some more when the road is cooler....usually pretty nasty these are weaksauce.
BTW, I have over 2-300 launches on this gearset. :)

Sorry guys the pavement was 110-120 degrees i tried the new 245 KDWs thought otherwise. Sounds like the clutch is slipping it's not. It's a brand new 6 puck and AWD system doing it's job. It was more of a "rally launch" lol.

The car has a highcomp 2.5 (257 with rex heads) hybrid(9.1-1), Brian Cower 280s, shimless valves, APR head studs, Blouch 20g turbo. It's actually on one of its many break in tunes. This one is very conservative (timing, fuel, and no meth) at 18psi.

The Meth/Alchy kit get turned back on when i'm not lazy enough to tune it. I will be shooting for 25+ psi, 880cc of 100% alchy/meth, and 450+whp.

I got a friend with a bug eye as well, has ppg gears 1-4, 1-2 are straight cut and 3-4 are helical, 5th is factory. Don't ask me why he did not go straight cut on all the gears and got the taller 5th as he tells he has no idea. From the sounds of it it seems that has the helical cut gears in. Correct me I am wrong. Nice Bug Eye, looks clean and one hell of a drive way.

@2slovak0 Na it had 1-4 Straight cuts in it. Since then I went full STi 6-spd swap.....and it sucks. lol

I was wondering, does the exhaust cutout affect a/f ratios when its open or closed? I always wondered that because the cutout open will make the turbo spool faster, does that affect a/f?

@cxbra No shouldn't effect the fuel too much. You're MAF driven. Unless you are in the same load/fuel column with it open and closed it may lean out a tad up top. However, it's unlikely and most tuners leave a little fuel up top.

The PPG 5 spped in my Modded Baja snapped an INPUT SHAFT !!!!

Simon Pfitzner (Mr. PPG) sold me replacements at HIS cost even though my gears were on the road, daily, for more than than 2.5 years. No new breakage yet !!! lol
