Looks like Buick Lacross? Dude, Equus has been around since 2005 in Korea! 5 years ahead of Lacrosse!

I think this car will struggle for sales because many Americans when they are buying cars that cost $40,000 and more want to play it safe and not gamble on a brand they know little about. However....I'd be willing to bet that if you blindfolded people and had them drive this car, they couldn't tell the difference between this car and a Lexus.

by the year 2012 hyundai will have its full luxury car lineup. by 2015 hyundai will be a luxury brand, by 2020 all other brands will be trying to be like hyundai.

Isn't the Fusion a mid-sized sedan?

Equus has existed in Korea before the new Lacross. The reporter doesn't know what he's talking about.

common Lacross?
so Lacross unique?? Ugly I say....
Aren't they tired of trashing Hyundai?
GM has tons of garbage.. only Caddy stands up for its name,, Ford? I don't know,, they don't have mid-size sedan..
All the sales from Taxi,Limo & government vehicles.. I would not pay a penny for Malibu,Crown Vic..
dis car looks very nice

Hyundai has been making this car since years ago, it was exclusive for diplomatic and important executive customers in Korea. Hyundai does know what they are doing with this car. It may not be a Bentley replacement, but for sure is way better than a Honda Legend or whatever Toyota has in the segment (if they have something with no recalls, of course). It's also a very good option to take in cosideration if you are looking for a Cadillac/Lincoln style car.
