looks like fun! Of course, the wind surfers were owning you..

I understand its not a constant 30knots, but at some point it might of been that day, lasers can cop really up to 35 knots (just) and they can almost about be sailed back in if the wind is gusting just over 40 if it picked up that much,

Also, just read everyone elses 'expert' comments - the wind at Vass is unique - there's often a shadow inshore, but can be howline 200 yards off the beach. Also, it gets windier the further upwind (ie towards the hill) you get, and WildWind is quite far downwind. Get out there and see for yourselves! 30 knots is easily possible.

Hey that's a really nice sailing vid, great stuff. I go to Club Vass every year...they open the beach at 30knots!!! (joking!). I made a vid this year also, have posted it!
this cannot be 30 knots of wind
they aren't even hiked out and they are sailing full rigs. i understand that they are very skilled sailors, however I have sailed in windy conditions like that and it is definitely not 30 knots. 30 knots of wind in a full rig would easily over power anyone.

are you completely stupid. Title says around 30 knots, not constant 30 knots. just listen to the sound. turn the volume up .
