Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are spearheading an effort to drag the veil of secrecy off of the Federal Reserve. They were both interviewed on Southern California Public Radio this Monday.
In 1913 the Federal Reserve was founded to combat the financial panic of 1907. Fast forward about a hundred years and the Fed finds it self in a strange predicament. Its loose money policies have been criticized as one of the causes of the biggest financial meltdown in our countrys history and in the process of propping up the economy, its come under scrutiny for its extreme secrecy. Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are spearheading an effort to drag the veil of secrecy off of the central bank and kindly remind them who they work forthe tax payers.
