Olympic torch warms Tanzania

Despite the heavy rain that has been pouring on Tanzania, the country is impatient about the coming of the Olympic Torch in the capital Dar es Salaam on Sunday. Many see in that event another opportunity to put the country in world news.

Western powers talk about democracy but they don't really understand it. Democracy is about people and a basic premise is "the majority rule". Now, when we set the stage to the whole world, everybody can see that more people are supporting the Olympic Relay and the Chinese efforts. Those anti-Chinese Westerners and their biased media can only find support among themselves. Their mud-slinging and tarnishing schemes may backfire soon. Congratulation, Tanzania. Thank you again.

When the whole world was ignoring Africa, China (itself impoverished at that time) sends its railroad engineers to Tanzania to build the Tanzania-Zambia Railroad. One of my relatives was in fact sent there, and many Chinese workers died there. That's why China earns its respect in Africa.

And Americans still wonder where on earth is Tanzania. Why don't you go look it up in Wikipedia?
