@kantrzyn We do have caterpillar tracked vehicles like the Vityaz we have multiple models and different brands, I don't know what you qualify as need for such uses but comparing a tracked all terrain utility vehicle to the HMWWV is not a fair comparison because the 4*4 wheeled to the tracks.

@kantrzyn if you stick the new duramax and allison into an h1, you get around 600hp and 600lb of torque at a lowered fuel consumption, and that really is a good combo

I have only compared the off road ability, and that what I saw nothing could compare with Russian Vityaz. I have not compare comfort, fuel consumption, reliability. Of course vityaz is quite different vehicle that Hummer and all other vehicles with wheels. But I think that USA do not have such caterpillar vehicle like vityaz (probably because they don't need such vehicles). I do not pray russian engineering because mostly it is totally crap.

@kantrzyn dumbass Hummer is a off road car but VITYAZ is military vehicles, compare to U.S Humvee, M-ATV, or a Stryker. VITYAZ is just a little ant + -1 month toy for Humvee, M-ATV, or a Stryker lol
