Sorry to my Youtube followers for this video, but I need to show the Vet what our poor dog is going through. We took her to the emergency room last night but the doctors couldn't find anything and asked us to tape her episodes. So now we'll have the doctors review this video. If anyone has any advice also, we'd be happy to listen. Can I please catch a break in this life or what?

  • That appears to be more of a tremor than a seizure.

DId she have an infection? Was she running a temperature?

Dilated pupils and all I wonder if she(?) ate a bad plant or was exposed to excess flea/tick powder?

    How's your puppy now?

  • Hi, it does not look like seizure activity as Veda is aware of her surroundings. You should ask your vet for a full blood count, biochemical work up and urine analysis. He could also carry out a CT scan, a spinal tap and an EMG and MRI. Head tremors are common in bulldogs, dobermans and boxers and mixers of these 3. Usually no cause is found although some are neurological, or caused by balance problems or infection maybe in the ear. Hope you find out soon what is wrong and keep us posted on her.

  • Looks a bit like an epileptic seizure.. But that should be visible effecting an EEG (sure they can do it on dogs, too), seizures leave marks that are not just gone after the seizure is over...

  • ok sorry, but posting this to the internet wont help

    it obviously only upsets people

  • this breaks my heart this poor dog :( i pray everthing works out for you and your dog

  • I hope Veda gets well soon.
