  • A mediocre design. No character. It could happen in anywhere in the world. A typical Canadian approach

  • @celloswiss "makes all the sense in the world" - yes so it can happen anywhere in the world. And, yes, clients do not only choose the look but also the budget. But without too much explanation, everyone understand which is more important to them. In design aspect, it is sad that after decades of education and practise, "Ultimately, it's the client who chooses"

  • @knoblochmimi I don't see anything particular Canadian here. The design is very contemporary and in stark contrast to the original Mariinsky, which makes all the sense in the world. Ultimately, it's the client who chooses.

  • the sydney is a great building and a shitty opera house with bad sound. diamond schmitt will give a nice building that isn't ostentatious but will have some of the best acoustics in the world.

  • Complex building!!!!!!!

  • I guess these architects are good at modern architecture, but suggested project looks awful! It reminds me some shopping mall ((( Their project shouldn't be realised!
