@SoncekZiga Yes, that way it should be able to connect up to 36 LEDs ;) The other way is to buy a new PC without any LPT and connect a fine USB-Card to connect up to 256 LEDs like mine....this LPT solution is oldscool now. But also thanks for the info.

@michaelboett173 i don't know how to connect 24 LEDs, but you can connect 12 LEDs using also outputs 1, 14, 16, 17 ('control' register).

How do I use MATLAB to:
1. Configure Parallel Port 12 bit as output port (write mode)
2. Configure Parallel Port 10 bit output and 4 bit input port (10 bit write and 4 bit read )

hi, nice video. I got little problems to understand everything, but my english is not so good. :) Ok, little question: Do you know how to connect more than 8 LEDs to one LPT? I've seen, that it is possible to use up to 24 LEDs on one LPT, but I don't know how. thx.
