he syas cos its indoors fertilizers cannot contaminate the land. THats not entirely an acurate description and typical of a tv documentary. Any left over nutrient will be discarded from hydroponic systems and poored down drains. It's our entire way of life that is wrong and capitalism prevents acts of nature happening as they should do. It has preventing people from freely living off the land and forced us into houses & buildings without choice and that is the reason we need all this farming

the biggest mistake humans are still making is not living off the land but instead living on concrete houses. It seems the governmnet do not want self sufficient races of people. That is so dumb. It makes no sense that one group of people have taken control of the worlds natural resources. NAture made natural resources not the government. why should claim the right to own it and force people to grovel for their share.

The lettuce you get in the store has been harvested early. Mature plants will bolt and flower, grow stems and produce seeds. Not a dumb question at all, it's good that you want to learn.

he says the water is topped and and never discarded. Makes perfect sense. I have always though that emptying resovirs is such a waste. i#m gonna do this from no one to save nutrients
