OH MY GOD MARVEL vs CAPCOM 3 IS REAL!!!!

It's official... After a decade of support for Marvel VS Capcom 2 from the players, Capcom is bringing back the Marvel VS series! Proves that Capcom loves and listens to their fans. ^__^ Tentative details so far: MvC3 will be a 2D fighter with 3D high-def graphics up to 1080p... the game runs on an "advanced version" of MT Framework, the same engine that powers the graphics of Lost Planet 2 & Resident Evil 5. MvC3 will feature 3-on-3 tag team style gameplay like the prequel and feature over 30 characters. The game will be disc based and is set for a Spring 2011 release on the Playstation 3 & Xbox 360... there are currently no plans for an arcade, PC, or Wii version as of yet.

Confirmed characters so far: Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto, Storm, Ryu, Morrigan, & Chris Redfield. MvC3 is said to have an eclectic and robust mix of music, with at least 100 pieces including remixes of favorites from previous Marvel VS Capcom games as well as some all new tracks. There will be unlockables and possible DLC. Unlike the previous Marvel VS Capcom games, this latest iteration will have a storyline! MVC3 will be playable at this year's E3 which is held on June 15 - 17th. Spring 2011
