Beautiful singing. I think though that only time will tell on whether it passes into what people in the future will call 'the tradition'. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy it or sing it to the best of our abilities... and Heather's very able indeed.
listening to heather takes me back to the days when she was teaching at Ayr collage. Heather is a lovely singer and a lovely person. I was one of the class.

One of the best voices, in my mind, in Scottish folksong. I'd walk a mile in the rain to hear this lady-- not that I ever have. :(
