Enjoying some of his old songs these days quite a bit. Oh the good old days - will they ever return ? Aakashavu bellale mele/Naavaduva nudi...can anything capture the innocence and joys of the days gone by ?
To think that Annavaru, who was a man of principles and values, is no more certainly leaves a void in my heart. And mind you I am not talking about his acting abilities or image but his presence on earth as a simple human being, despite all his achievements.
I used to hear this often during my childhood days in Bangalore during the late 70's and 80's. Came to this spot on YouTube accidentally.
After years now - I hear this song almost everyday from this upload repeatedly. Besides the wonderful lyrics - the music is phenomenal. And everytime I hear it - takes me back to my childhood days and yet gets me to think very philosophically about life, its purpose and living in general. A true favourite of mine.
