Original description:


My low-tech music video put with my original music. Necessary equipment included Windows Movie Maker, a used digital camcorder purchased off of eBay, and a small container of blue Play-doh. ;-) I've tried to add some extra instrumentation to this song, so it may sound better with headphones or good speakers (probably can't hear the bass through a laptop!).

All the songs I write have a large part of me in them, but this song is probably more personal than most. I usually refrain from giving too much explanation for a song, hoping that my listeners can relate to it without being swayed to think of it one way or another... but I will say that this song sums up the ongoing conversation I've been having with the Lord for the last several months...

It was just about a year ago that I almost randomly first clicked onto a video. 'Beautiful Destruction' said the vid title. That intrigued me. So (shrug) I clicked.

I'm SO glad I made that click. Thanks for a year's worth of great music and the many smiles. If I had more than a penny in my pocket, I'd have ordered your CD by now. It's actually gnawwing at me that, right now, I just can't justify things like CDs, going to movies. ...But don't worry, better days are coming!

I haven't quite been able to peg Leesha's style or genre... based on her explanation, this is pretty much Christian rock. Though, without the explanation, you'd never peg that... just some powerful lyrics.

I'm not a big fan of Christian rock. But, in my opinion, she's all over the place -- but in a good way. I'm still blown away by her cover of Use Somebody by Kings of Leon. Her best work, in my opinion.
