www.westorange.org West Orange is a township of almost 45,000 people that has a total area of 12.2 square miles.The town unfolds across the first and second Watchung Mountains with well over 1,000 acres of open land including most of South Mountain Reservation as well as Eagle Rock Reservation. West Orange is bordered by Essex Fells, Livingston, Montclair, Millburn, Orange and Verona, NJ and is about 14 miles from New York City.

In addition, the recreation opportunities don't stop with the miles of hiking trails. There are 4 golf courses, the Turtle Back Zoo, Codey Skating Arena, Mini Golf Safari, Essex County Equestrian Club, Oscar Schindler Performing Arts Center, New Jersey's best events facilities, and dozens of restaurants featuring cuisines from around the world.

The downtown area features the Thomas Edison National Historical Park that recently received $16 million in improvements as well as the thriving Valley Arts District anchored by the Luna Stage Theater Company facility.

Congratulations on such a fine video. I grew up in West Orange, and have fond memories of it. I loved seeing Pleasantale Elementary, my school, South Mountain Arena, and Turtle Back Zoo. I moved away many years ago, but try to take a drive through it whenever I am in the NY/NJ area. Best of luck.
